The City of Prairie City will be hosting a neighborhood meeting at the Community Building located at 503 S. State Street in Prairie City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19^th.  The purpose of the meeting is to listen to input and answer questions regarding the bioswale project located south of the PCM elementary/middle school parking lot.

The Prairie City Lions Club is having their monthly pancake breakfast Saturday morning, March 28th from 7:00 – 9:00 a.m. The breakfast is held at the Prairie City Community Building. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs and a drink. The proceeds from the free will donation are used for many projects within the community. The profits from this month’s pancake breakfast will be donated to the PCM 4th grade Foresters Program and to support other tree and shrub plantings in the community.
