The City Administrator has communicated with the Jasper County Emergency Management Agency (JCEMA) concerning the city’s siren. The agency’s office has supplied a document addressing outdoor warning sirens.

Next week, the JCEMA Director is scheduled to assess the city’s siren in Prairie City and will subsequently furnish the City Administrator with additional details and suggestions for the next steps in addressing this matter.
