CIT Sewer Solutions has been hired by the City Council to evaluate and repair some of the City’s sanitary sewer mains. Within the next few days, they will tentatively be working in the following areas:

W North St from N Park St to N Orchard St

Alleyway from N Sherman St to N East St

Part of this work involves the use of high-pressure water sprayed to clean the areas where private sewer lines connect to the City’s sanitary sewer main, prior to doing the repairs. This water pressure may cause increased pressure to private sewer lines and connected items including household drains, sinks, showers, tubs and toilets. Residents are advised as a precaution to keep toilet lids closed and cover drain opens during this cleaning and repair period.
